Payment Options
We’ve outlined the fees for our frequently requested services below to ensure clarity and openness. Payment is due at the time of service. We accept e-transfers (to hello@truenorthveteye.com), debit cards, and major credit cards. Please note that we do not accept cash or cheques.
Effective Feb. 15, 2024, fees are as follows:
- New Patient Exam: $314.29 + GST
- Recheck Exam: $247.62 + GST
- Urgent / Work-In Exam: $452.38 + GST
- Technician Pressure Check or Tear Test
- Visit: $95.24 + GST
- OFA (1st dog): $76.19 + GST
- OFA (additional dog): $61.91 + GST
Estimates for additional diagnostics, procedures and surgeries are provided based on patient exams. Deposits are required for procedures and surgeries.
As we understand that travel to a veterinary ophthalmologist is not always feasible, we are pleased to offer consults to primary care veterinarians within Canada. Though such consults do not replace an exam with a veterinary ophthalmologist, we hope to improve access to specialized care to patients in remote locations.

- Vet to Vet Quick Question Email Consult: $57.15 + GST
