True North will be carrying a small stock of compounded medications as well as placing orders for compounded medications every 2 weeks. These can be picked up Monday / Thursday during office hours. If your pet is on a compounded medication such as Tacrolimus, Cyclosporine, Pilocarpine, or Cidofovir, we recommend ordering refills when you have 1/4 of a bottle/tube left to allow enough time for ordering / shipping. Specialized Eye Care for Beloved Pets
True North Veterinary Eye Care is currently performing extraocular surgeries as well as corneal / conjunctival microsurgeries (grafts etc.). Cataract surgery is anticipated to be offered starting in Summer 2024 at our new facility. We are currently able to offer medical management of cataract cases as well as provide pre-operative retinal screening tests for cases that require urgent out of province referral.
